In Fall 2022, our Horticulture team planted over 50,000 tulips in the beds of our Trial Garden. This garden area, centered with a Hartley Victorian Greenhouse, is home to our yearly tests of new and unreleased varieties annuals and perennials. Known for its visual impact of elongated beds, the Trial Garden is planted in May and peaks in late-summer. This April, we will have early-spring color like never before! Get ready to experience the first ever Tulip Mania in the MHS Trial Garden.
Tulip Mania will be included with Garden Admission.
Join us in welcoming Jo Thompson, author of The Gardener's Palette, to Massachusetts this spring! Jo will talk about color and design, answer audience questions, and sign copies of her book. Also, enjoy drinks (cash bar) and bites while surrounded by 50,000 budding tulip bulbs.
We're looking to collaborate with local New England influencers who want to share this experience with their audience!
As a small nonprofit, being featured on local news sites makes all the difference!
