Downton Abbey-inspired Garden Party
Sunday, September 15 2013, 3:00pm - 7:30pm

highclere-castle_1760475b.jpgDownton Abbey fans will have something to celebrate as they await the arrival of the show’s next season: a Downton Abbey-inspired Garden Party at Elm Bank in Wellesley!

The event will support our Garden to Table program, which gives the community an opportunity to come together in a beautiful and welcoming setting to learn about growing, cooking, and preserving healthy food. Through this innovative program, the organization provides fresh, organic produce to families in need. Last year, the nonprofit organization donated more than 3,500 pounds of produce to two local food pantries.

To be held Sunday afternoon (3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., September 15, 2013.) Tickets $125.00 each. The event will offer guests an opportunity to:
•    Stroll through the exquisite Massachusetts Horticultural Society Gardens at Elm Bank
•    Enjoy delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
•    Watch a match by New England’s premier cricket team
•    Listen to music by the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra String Quartet
•    Admire museum-quality vintage fashions by Augusta Auction Company
•    Enter to win luxury prizes

Guest are encouraged to dress in their finest post-Edwardian era attire and enter to win the best costume and best hat prizes.
