Highland Park Garden Walk

Discover Roxbury co-presented by Common Boston

Celebrate spring with a stroll through the colorful gardens of local green thumbs during the Highland Park/Fort Hill area June 11, 10:00am - 12:00pm. View beautiful blossoms, a working farm, an orchard and community gardens. Tom Plant, Director of Special Projects in the Environmental Health Office of the Boston Health Commission will lead the tour.

Some stops on the walk include:

  • Cooper Education Center and Community Garden
  • Gladwyn Howard's terraced flower garden
  • · Don Mawson & Bill Lottero's garden and beehives
  • The Singleton backyard brownstone garden
  • Garden Girl Farm

The tour meets at the Cooper Educational Center and Community Gardens, 34 Linwood St., Roxbury MA, rain or shine.

Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes for walking up and down irregular ground.

Limit 40 people.
