The event is free, however, we suggest a donation of $15.00 per person at the event.

Come join us in celebrating the first year anniversary of the installation of the magnificent Bressingham Garden at the MHS Horticulture Center. Adrian Bloom, English garden designer and horticulturist, and original designer of the garden will be on hand for guided tours and to comment on the progress of the garden.

Thanks to generous donations by Whole Foods and Adrian Bloom, we are now able to offer a free guided tour with Adrian of the magnificent Bressingham Garden at the MHS Horticulture Center to our members and friends of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. There will also be a wine and cheese reception and book signing at the event.

Last year on August 3rd, MHS and a tremendous number of volunteers installed Bloom’s largest to date large-scale perennial demonstration and display garden — covering 1.01 acres — in a single day. More than 150 -200 people volunteered to plant 8,000-10,000 donated plants, including 7,000-plus perennials, 100-plus trees, and 500-plus shrubs.

The garden has matured beautifully over the past year and now is the time to celebrate it.

Please make your reservation by Friday, September 5th.
