The Hunnewell Building Print E-mail

The Hunnewell Building, an historic carriage house at Elm Bank Horticulture Center in Wellesley, is available for four season rental. In 2001, the building underwent a state-of-the-art renovation and is fully heated and air-conditioned. A MHS Membership is a requirement for function rentals.

All rental fees include:
  • Exclusive use of the historic Hunnewell Building (2,960 sq feet event space)
  • Connected three-season tent Mid-April-1st week November (33x66 feet)
  • Catering Space
  • Coat Room
  • Podium & 10’ screen
  • Restrooms, including one wheelchair accessible
  • Hook-up for audio-visual equipment, music or theatrical lighting
  • Use of:
    • 225 green/gold cushioned chairs
    • 36 round tables (60 inches diameter seating 8-10 guests)
    • 25 rectangular tables (6 foot long)
    • 3 rectangular serving tables (8 foot long)

The Hunnewell Building Rental also includes use of the grounds, including the restored Italianate Garden, ideal for wedding photos, cocktail receptions and ceremonies
