Planting begins on Three Greenway Parcels E-mail
Horticultural Experts and Community Volunteers begin planting on the
Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway


Wellesley, MA May 5, 2008 – The Massachusetts Horticultural Society is proud to announce that planting has begun on its designated parcels on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway. The 22-week long project will involve planting 8,000 trees, shrubs, and plants in accordance with the Halvorson Landscape Partners’ design on Parcels 19, 21 and 22. These parcels comprise about 5 acres outside of South Station in downtown Boston.

This year's show, “Heroes & Villains,” will pay tribute to the people, creatures, and things that support us and attempt to thwart us in our quest for horticultural perfection.
