If you’re planning to attend the Boston Flower and Garden Show this week and you’re wondering what the kids are going to do, wonder no more. The Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s exhibit includes a Childrens’ Corner where you can pick up a Scavenger Hunt. The hunt takes the kids through the show to find delightful items made almost entirely from plants. When they find all the items on the list (and even if they don’t) stop back by the booth to claim a prize and some activities to take home and do.

The Childrens’ Corner also displays fun activities you can do with kids to engage them in the garden. Hand outs are available describing how to start sprouts at home, grow plants from seeds in the food that you eat, and keep a worm bin to recycle your household waste and provide fertilizer for your houseplants.
