The Massachusetts Horticultural Society offers a wide variety of horticultural programming for adults and children. For adults, Mass Hort schedules workshops and classes that are designed to enrich the understanding of plants and environment. Our Garden to Table Program incorporates advice on growing vegetables and herbs with ways to bring the harvest to the table. This year we are launching a new initiative by hosting the Wellesley Farmers' Market at the Whole Foods location in Wellesley. Our programming for children includes Weezie's Story Hour and the Caterpillar Club. Elm Bank is also home to the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association's Master Gardener Program. The course consists of thirteen classroom and lab modules, including soil science, botany, entomology, plant pathology, pruning and propagation. Courses are conducted by both academic and industry professionals.
