The New England Spring Flower Show offers a bevy of garden delights in the many demonstrations that run throughout the show.
The Horticulture Demonstration Stage, located in A Hall, offers demonstrations on everything from how best to prune your stubborn bushes and shrubs, to how to build a retaining or garden wall, or even how to put in a garden pond.
The Floral Demonstration Stage, located in the garden Market Place in D Hall, showcases the best topics in flowers today. Topics include Orchid and Rose care, flower arranging for everyday and specialty pieces, and exotic Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging).
Each demonstration lasts for approximately 20 minutes and is followed by some open question time for the audience to ask their most dire gardening question to our experts. Many of our demonstrators are MHS Master Gardeners or retail and nursery owners that have booths in our Garden Market Place at the show.
Check back closer to the show for a complete schedule of Horticulture and Floral demonstrations.
